call your attention to the 9th verso
of the 119th Psalm, wdiich had

“ Wherewdthal shall a young man
cleanse his w:ay'^ Even by ruling
liimself after Thy Word.” The
Bible being the w'ord of God, I
thought, how grapd a thing it
must be to have such a guidebook;
and it is. And as God claims from
us the best that Ave can oiler Him,
1 knew^ that by giying myself up
to him noAv I Avould be an instru-
ment in helping ray fellowdoeings,
as Avell as myself. It is the grand-
est position any^ person ever un-
dertook,— delightful, joyful and
full of instruction. All of us are
hoping that Christ Jesus Avill be
our Savior; and while holding
back from a manly confession of
him, Ave are trusting that the tirhe
AAdll come Avhen it Avill be easy —
even pleasant — for us to be en-
rolled among his folIoAvers, and
enjoy th.c blessings of his king-
dom. Under the flimsy and heart-
less plea, that Ave are afraid of
